This is a very graceful set of table and chairs for dining or cardplaying. An antique set that has been upcyled and so enhanced. The Victorian mahogany dining table of elegant proportions and shape and very fashionable castors seats four comfortably, and comes with 4 elegant mahogany wheatsheaf chairs, with wonderful vintage drop-in seats covered in golden silk fabric with bands of subtle pink climbing roses.

 

Both table and chairs have been sanded and painted Olive (Sloan Olive chalk paint), lovingly waxed and vigorously buffed, and the underside of the table has been painted with red oxide.Please note this is a Vintage waxed finish and the top of the table shows some age, character and handpainting strokes as is the Vintage style.

 

The whole effect is stunning. A vintage treatment for a lovely antique set, which really would look fabulous anywhere - for dining in a flat, house, cottage or whist-playing in a mansion. Everyone will ask clever old you where you found this set..
