A great Retro sideboard from the Gplan/Brandon era, this is a teak and tola sideboard, part-solid and part-veneer with a really unusual top and very handsome framed legs. Part cupboard with shelving, and with a stylish set of black drawers, this piece makes for a rare and attractive retro storage unit, which could be used as sideboard or as a console table.
It's pretty much in its original condition with the exception that all the black pieces have had a thin lick of paint to tidy them up, without over-smartening them. The top has some wingdings and one small sticky glue strip, so this one is not for the perfection-seeker. It is so unusual, combining as it does, so many different elements of Retro style, and we've been unable to find its pair anywhere, so its seeking an unsual owner..
