This very smart small mahogany sideboard has been elevated into a elegant Console table. Its serpentine mahogany top has been gently sanded and waxed to a warm but natural shade, while the rest of the body of the table, including its graceful legs, have had a generous coating of the mattest of matt black paint. The lustrous top contrasts superbly with the sooty base, and the original vintage brass handles add subtle lowlights.

The end result is a seriously sophisticated small piece.  At only 75cm tall x 1m wide, it makes a great design statement in a modest amount of space. Attractive and very versatile, it could be used as a Console table, but would be equally happy and useful as a dresser, dressing table, or desk.
