Vintage Distressed Overmantel with Mirror

This distressed overmantel of some age Victorian or Edwardian is a Vintage Oak piece with a wonderfully foxed old mirror. We've restored by roughly handsanding back some unattractive old varnish, and by making safe the rear of the mirror. The wooden back of this great old mirror is now lined securely with a piece of silver leatherette - the effect is fabulous and the mirror can now continue to flake gently internally.

Its a really atmospheric small piece. Vintage wooden mirror look - sorted!
